Basement Beam Replacement

TYPE structural · THE WORK rotted sill and sagging joists, new beam and steel posts

A structural repair in an old basement. The sill on the stone foundation had rotted and the floor joists above were sagging, so we ran a new beam the length of the basement, set it on adjustable steel posts with proper plates, and brought the floor back up.
