I’m Scott Ryder. I buy, fix up and sell houses around Davenport and the Quad Cities — and I do a lot of the work myself. Kitchens and baths, roofs and siding, decks and stairs, structural repairs, and whole gut jobs when a place needs one.
I run the Ryder Group here in Davenport — real estate, property management and Ryder Group Maintenance — so I see houses at every stage: the day they’re bought, the months they’re torn apart, and the day they’re done.
Some of the houses on this site were my own flips, some I held as rentals, and some were done for clients. Every one gets its before and its after side by side, because that’s the honest way to show what changed.
It isn’t only houses. There’s shop work in here too — tables, consoles, carved signs and engraved gifts — because I like building things as much as rebuilding them.
