246 West 30th is my grandmother’s old house, so finishing this one meant a little more. We took it down to the bones over the winter of 2023–24 and brought every room back — a full remodel from the attic to the basement.
The work touched the whole house. We put in a brand-new kitchen with new cabinets, counters, and appliances, and fully rebuilt the bathroom. New flooring and fresh paint went in throughout, along with all-new windows. We upgraded the electrical service and added new light fixtures, redid the plumbing, rebuilt the crumbling front steps, and framed a new back deck. A fresh coat of exterior paint took the house from tired white to a clean gray, and new landscaping finished it off.

During the renovation
A look at the middle of the project — the staircase stripped to the stringers, rooms taken down to the studs, and the new kitchen going in over the old subfloor.
